I'm a little ho-hum about it when a) it's just about satellites and 2) I don't expect a clear video of the landing.

I'm all ^5s about the SpaceX success and sure, I hope all those satellites give me better connectivity at a price I feel comfortable paying.

But at this point the only real interest aside from manned flight, are the landings.

Just like of the '50s sci-fi movies.

Loved 'em then, love 'em now.

They had an awesome view of the landing and of deploying the first satellites.

That was really cool! Thanks for posting it! I wasn't aware there was a launch today.

I sometimes forget how big the first stage is

It fills me with awe every time they land an 18 story tall rocket on a drone ship....
That's how tall the Falcon 9 first stage is; 18 stories.

Now, when SUPERHEAVY and Starship start landing... just WOW.... It's as tall as the ENTIRE Falcon 9 (both stages and payload) and is 9 METERS in diameter. The first one of those to launch and land (in once piece) is going to be utterly spectacular!

Yes. Wake me when they capture an asteroid and bring it into LEO for mineral-exploitation.

Patience.... patience...
It'll happen. It'll happen a lot faster if Starlink starts making the kind of money It has the potential to.

The Electron is really comparable to a Falcon 1, not the current SpaceX mainstream rocket. I root for them, but they are a decade behind SpaceX. I hope they can make it, would keep SpaceX on their toes!
