Droning on and on... What camera Drone should I ask for Father's Day ?

Looking for something that will fly super stable, first person view to iPhone would be nice, outdoors and indoors. Mostly I want to use it to scan around my house / trees and on the roof, because I'm not allowed to go up on the roof any more. (Risk of becoming ground pizza is too high because steep pitch + bad knees + occasional dizziness + age).

Budget less than $200 or so. Because kids will probably have me pay for it anyway.

Get the one with that safety feature where when it runs low on power it returns to home base. Or this might be you...

EPIC drone save over water.

Mavic Air 2 gets very good reviews. Supposedly the best drone under $1k.

juuuuust a bit outside his budget =)

I think they are all about the same at your budget -- id just do some net searching and watch some reviews.

They should all have camera controls and return to home. even the $70 one I bought years ago did.

I have the Mavic Mini, and absolutely LOVE it!!!! Here's a link to a bunch of (too long, and probably boring) videos I've made with it:

If I was in the sub-$200 market, I'd likely go with Hubsan:

Quality, feature-packed, and affordable.

It looks like you need to double your budget for the mavic mini -- or $500 with all the whistles.

A great drone to learn on is the Tello. I had one for a while. It's great indoors and if there is no wind, you can fly it outside. Software is by DJI. Very durable. Flew it a ton then sold it to a friend who loves it. Hooks right up to your phone.
