iPhone 11 Max Pro charger

Geez, I feel stupid, but in my bag of way too many chargers, I can't find the 18w that is supposedly included with the Pro Max. Is it bigger than the little 5W ones? I'm tired of trying to read pale gray on white . . .

Is it missing or do you know where it is? When you find it, you can doll it up to make it stand out.

The rumor sites believe the the iPhone 12 won't ship with an included charger at all. That'll solve that problem...

Until you find it, charge using the USB port on your Mac.

To help you read that tiny pale grey on white print, on your phone go to settings/accessibility/magnifier. Then enable magnifier. After that, triple clicking on the side button will turn your camera into a powerful magnifier.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

I just take a pic w/ the phone, then biggen it to read.

OTOH.... Anker makes good chargers, this one goes on sale (~$17) fairly regularly, and they make a bunch of more potent ones that can charge all kinds of goodies. We use a more potent one as charge-all while road trippin'.... well, we used to anyway, until the crud upped and crept in. A proper charger is a big help w/ newer iOS gear; well worth the investment.

Technically it's gray on pale gray. It's about 50% wider and 50% longer than the little 5W. Should be easy to identify since you plug into it via USB-C instead of USB-A. On that note, you'll have to hunt down the USB-C to lightning cable that came with it.

It's good to have, but I actually don't use it much unless my phone is dead or extremely low, and that doesn't happen very often with my 11 Pro. I'm on the wireless charging bandwagon...in the car, at my desk, and on my nightstand. But as Buzz suggested, I make sure that any new multiport powerbanks support USB-C since I have a mix of devices.
