seems a pretty good deal. I have 2 older Dells that have given me no issues.

IMHO, if you are going 27", you want 2560 x 1440, not 1920 x 1080

I'd at least want the option.

My u2711 and LED ACD are at 2560x1440.

The Dell runs at 1910x1080 when on the 2012 mini's HDMI output.

I think it's higher with the 2018 mini.

1080p is big on a 27", fine for watching videos, but text and icons are huge.

But that may be good for some people, as long as text doesn't get fuzzy.

I dunno that I've ever seen a Mac on 2560x1440.
Guess I'll have to take a look in the event that I upgrade from my '13 MBA 13", which I'd like to.
Alas ...

27" iMacs since 2009 are 2560 x 1440, fwiw. 30" Apple monitor was 2560 x 1600 -- nearly 20 years ago? =)

You could easily add a second screen to your MBP with just one cable, even a 27" 2560 x 1440 one =)

Got a 28" 1920 X 1200....

very easy on the old eyes.
Our Dell U3011 is 2560 X 1600, and still going strong. That 1080p 27" IPS Dell for $230 would probably be good for someone over 50, or so. Younger eyes would probably like higher resolution, or it would be a good secondary monitor.

Once I procure all my computer components (10th gen i7 10700 LGA 1200 already purchased) and build for X-Plane (and some other purposes), I plan on possibly hooking up three 1080P monitors to the PC for X-Plane. 1080P is a recommended resolution for running multiple screens in X-Plane 11 for higher graphics settings. So, I am keeping an eye out for good deals on 1080P monitors and graphics cards for later in the year. Thanks for this post, helps me keep an eye on price points and deals.

Once I get my PC computer rig setup, I plan to run X-Plane Simulator on single monitor for a while. If I get hooked, will expand to a three monitor setup, diagonal size is TBD right now but 27" wouldn't take up to much space. If I stick with a one monitor setup, will use with the higher resolution monitor that I already have here.

I plan to make a separate post soon regarding my Flight Simulator experience that I am working on since there seems to be a handful of people that were interested in what I was finding out. Have found lots of good stuff for others to peruse through...
