Where's 'I'm MAVIC' option?

I normally use the back of paper pulled from the recycling bin for physical notes...

In college, my handwriting was so good I could write 2 lines on college ruled paper per 1 printed line. Mechanical pencil. We were allowed 1 sheet of paper for notes by one of my professors. He saw my sheet once and said I must have about 1/4th of the book's contents on that 1 sheet. I loved that guy. Best history professor EVER!

We had a whole day on hookers and the westward expansion. "Women of infinite accessibility"

I really miss having that precise handwriting.

The other big one is the quad-ruled comp books. Graph paper, perfect for diagrams of camera set-ups.

Seems like you are missing something else, too!

He did gloss over the booze though. In retrospect, that should have been another full hour lecture by itself.

Same here, although sometimes use the front too if there wasn't much printed on it.

My office ordered a case of pink and yellow 11x14 legal printer paper by accident. It was free for the taking. So I've been slicing the 11x14 paper down to 8.5x11 to fit in my home printer. The resulting 3 inch leftover strips are my notetaking and shopping list paper.

Unlined thumbs up

Lines please. Graph paper even better. My astigmatic eyes and occasionally shaking hands can't do a straight line unless I've got guides. Usually not even then.

We don’t need no stinking lines. smiling smiley

In college I took notes with a “0” rapidograph.
I did use college ruled paper, because that’s what came in spiral bind notebooks.
I hate regular ruled paper. Yuck.

You can have it both ways with electronic note taking.

GoodNotes 5 allows you to write with lines, dots, etc., and then remove those lines or dots for a cleaner look.

It depends. For "important" info, I prefer lined. If it's just a quick note or to-do list, usually unlined.

It better have lines so that I can ignore them and scrawl wildly

Sometimes a digit won't do, and you need a penis

Just making quick notes on occasion, unlined.

It also allows me to sketch a diagram if so inspired.

If I'm writing coherent sentences meant to be read later or by someone else, it's lined paper and I'm in report writing mode.

ipad Pro with an Apple pencil or I just keep it in my head and don't write it down. Email to myself, perhaps a note in Notability or Apple Notes. Just depends on what I need to keep.
