My personal iOS devices were already running iOS 14. May update my company phone today. Haven't decided yet.

Wait a week, make an iTunes backup from your phone, and watch for the consensus opinion.

I run the beta whenever I can. If it works, I upgrade ASAP, as I did yesterday. However I don't play games on the phone, nor do I use a browser or mail. My phone is only a tool, not an entertainment center.

Gonna ask my Mother if that offer to slap

Nope. Sticking with iOS 10.

Sticking with a 4 year old OS? Is that because that's all your device supports?

FWIW a lot of corporate systems don't allow upgrades because the managed third party toolset is not updated yet. Our corporate iOS devices have automatic update disabled.

Will do normal protocol - do an iPad first. Wait for .01 update likely for my critical iPhone, or will do in a few weeks.

Same here -- as I have said before -- my SE is actually noticeably faster running the beta.

No, it's because an app I use multiple times every day did not get updated for iOS 11, and if I upgrade I lose it. I haven't found a suitable replacement for it yet.

i have itchy update fingers but i'm about to go on a 5 day road trip. on the one hand it would be fun to play with during hotel down time. on the other hand it would be a major pain if something goes wrong.

what to do. what to do.

We have one such app, and it now has its own dedicated iPad.

Funny, but that was the best way to move forward.

Correct. Many companies deploy some form of MDM which can restrict or force upgrades.

The option to update to 14 just showed up on the company phone, so away we go.

FWIW, as of 4:30 PM Central, it's available via Software Update in the General Settings on my iPhone XR.

My 'Phone, one Watch, and one iPad have been updated.

I'll upgrade my Watch to an S6 this week.

No new iPad for me for awhile.

The 'Phone may be upgraded depending on what we see in the 12 lineup.

If there's a 14" MBP, I'll have no choice.

Updated my phone and iPad last night. I've been running the beta for a while and it's been stable. Will be updating the rest of the families today.

I tried going to WatchOS 7, but nothing happened. I had the watch on the puck, it was close to 100%, the phone was also on a charger at 85%, there is no manual update button, so I don't know how to force an update to the watch.

Sam3,

I haven't yet updated my phone to iOS 14, so it could be different. On iOS 13.7, go to the Watch App, go down to General, and then to Software Update. It should then check for the update to the watch. Hope this helps,

Diana

I read a tip to turn the watch off, then restart it. That worked, I'm now on WatchOS 7.
