It's deeper than it looks.

Trailer:

EDIT: removed "a lot" and kept it as just normal deeper.

I disagree. It's not all that much "deeper."

But it's well-written and the acting is excellent.

Worth watching.

Agreed in retrospect, 'a lot' was hyperbole. Edited for clarity.

Still, its lessons in how to give an apology and receive an apology hit home for us, especially given the current climate. But point taken.

Part of the value of the show: respect for people's humanity.

Wouldn't it be cool if people were like that in the real world?

I hope this show goes on for lots more seasons and doesn't undermine what it's built so far. We need lessons like that in popular culture.

This show is why we subscribed to Apple TV+. Sadly, based on Apple's record with other shows, my adult children don't think Apple will make another season of episodes. We really liked it.

We are enjoying it now too.
I didn't realize it was a series, I thought it was a movie from the previews, so we just never got around to checking it out until some posted here…

Thanks

Good enough for a double-post, about three weeks apart.

...it really is a great show.

For some reason, some blurb I'd read made the premise sound stupid, and I knew nothing of any of the cast, who are stellar.

But, it was right there one day so I watched the first episode and really enjoyed it, much nicer than I expected.

I loved the coach duo, and liked looking at Curella, and didn't like her character, as was intended.

The writing was terrific, and the acting likewise, so I was in, and it just kept getting better.

Then, as noted in another thread, episode four really elevated the show, but I already new it was a keeper.

And it was good to see that others liked it as well, because many great shows often don't get more than one season.

Being renewed before the all the episodes aired was really encouraging.

A really heartwarming show, without the Hallmark cloying.

I've watched episode 8 six times, and love every minute.

There's just the last one to watch, and then it's rewatch them until Season 2.

There was a similar premise but different specifics in Rob's Lowe's Wild Bill, which I quite liked.

While it tried, it just didn't have the heart or the magic of Lasso.

based on Apple's record with other shows, my adult children don't think Apple will make another season of episodes.

What record/shows is/are that?
