Great ending, we have a real Series now -- maybe people will start watching!! Dodgers played that last hit like they were in the Cape Cod League!

I think the Rays won the World Series last night.
It may go 7 but the Rays will be awarded the rings.

They should have never left Brooklyn.

I believe that the San Pedro Ca MRF-Dodgers Fan Club will be watching again tonight. Maybe pick up some Slavko's chicken (it's open again). The Dodgers are demonstrably the better club (as the 2-2 record shows) but somehow they have the ability to give up a game losing home run in the bottom of the ninth in the World Series year after year. Tommy Lasorda and Walt Alston seemed to know how to win these games.

How does a 2-2 record show that the Dodgers are demonstrably the better team? Asking as the other member of the San Pedro Ca MRF-Dodgers Fan Club...

FTFY.

The announcers even got into the act, they at first called the outfield flub that started the whole mess on Mookie. Mookie doesn't do those sort of things.

Game is on MLB network now, they're at the 8th inning so this would be a good time to tune in.

...the time between pitches for the last pitch to the second strike.

Geeze Louise.

The finish is not enough to induce me to watch a game.

Serve some pizza and decent chicken wings, and it's a different ballgame.

That said, a comedy of errors is a tough way to lose a game.

Aside from actually winning, I imagine any Dodger would have rather Phillips knocked it out of the park instead of the flubs.

LOVED seeing Phillips run around the playground being a jet plane, sheer joy.

Takes me back a ton of decades.

As I didn't see the game and know next to nothing about baseball (bigger than a golf ball, smaller than a soccer ball), did Phillips score?

Was he out somewhere along the line?

Or was it Game Over when Arozarena scored?

Genuinely curious.

Again, conspiracy theorist in me says Faux Sports advertising sales bribed Doggies to drag out series to gen more revenue....
Big 6th and 7th game bonuses gonna get paid.

With sports all topsy-turvy because of you what, the TV networks are Hurtin' Bigger than Frank Thomas. If the series can be dragged out as long as possible, it's a win for TV. No way "Real Pro's" make *those* flubs during a normal baseball season.
Just sayin....
Pretty suspicious....
but damn entertaining if you're not a Dodger fan.

My friends and I actually played out "rigging" scenarios for each of the major sports. The conclusion was it was impossible to pull off. Now, a single player or referee could cheat to a certain degree.
