Freehand drawing tool with line drag-editing?

Freehand and Flash had a drawing tool I found valuable, but I can't find it elsewhere.

It enabled me to draw a vector line, then drag it into new shapes with the cursor, without using the Illustrator-style vector editing tool.

Do you know any drawing program on Mac or iPad that has this feature?

There's no use telling me how good the Illustrator-type tool is. It just does not work with my thought process.

[inkscape.org] ? [www.figma.com] might work too.

I only vaguely remember how much easier Freehand was than Illustrator :/

The old freeform tool? Adope still has some version of FreeHand somewhere on their site - just now looked for it, MX. But apparently it doesn't run on Any Mac that's higher past 10.5…which makes it less likely anyone can use it now unless they've got a drive dedicated to starting up on old systems.
