When's "Wired" gonna have a write-up about our mutiny?

Or MacNN for that matter? Or Playboy...I'd have to get that issue (just for the article, of course). I wanna see our names in print!

What mutiny?

We got our pay, grabbed our sea bags, and disembarked in port...

Whether you sign on for the return leg is entirely up to you...

I'll be here on the beach.

Maybe "mass exodus" would have been a better term.

So there aren't many signing up for the return leg of the journey...

Lots of folks with sea-bags sittin' on the beach...

<life's a beach....

If that were REALLY true, then the really hot teachers assistant here in the computer lab would be wearing a bikini top and a thong rather than a heavy sweater.....

But then, that would mean that life was fair...

It's wasn't one of those nice "form fitting, curve hugging" sweaters, it was one of those bulky "I don't want these 8th grade pervs and that guy in the corner of the lab staring at me" sweaters.

Well, this isn't as good as an article in Wired but I got a chuckle from it.

While looking around I found this at the brand "DM" forum under the About Us link in the top right corner of the page. I think they may need to update #2....

Besides the deals themselves, what else is cool here?

Good question! Here’s a quick top 5:

1. We can send you an email alert so you don’t miss a deal. Our email alerts are very flexible, but remember: with great power comes great responsibility.

2. As we understand it, the dealmac forum is the most popular Macintosh forum on the Web. That does make us wonder what the least popular Macintosh forum on the Web is. It’s not ours, though … we’re pretty darn sure of THAT.

3. See if dealcoupon has a web coupon before you buy anything from anywhere. You might only get free shipping or $5 off, but that’s still free shipping or $5 off.

4. Instead of buying expensive add-on RAM when you “build-to-order” your Mac or PC, use dealram. It’s our RAM price tracker that can find your RAM by the type of computer. Typically, you’ll save about 40% on ram by using dealram. We also have ink and digital camera price comparison sites.

5. We’ve got a good selection of RSS deal feeds. Pick a feed, stick it in your email client, My Yahoo, or even on your website, and get a steady broadcast of deals.

Yup. Mutiny implies duty. Obligation. This is all voluntary. Our Otherworldliness speaks for itself.

I will assume that you are "that guy in the corner of the lab staring", Paul. ;-)

I wrote to MacNN the first day of the new forum and reported the story to them. Guess it hasn't been reported there yet.

Thanks but all I did was add some type (let my people post) to the poster
from the 1960 movie "Exodus"

Tonight I might have been looking for the Bob Marley version instead :-/

So Paul spends his day surrounded by middle schoolers. That 'splains a lot winking smiley

As to the topic, if Larry's mods were able to zap objectionable posts and threads straight to AppleSwitchers Padded Room, that kind of cross-pollination (cross-pollution?) might prove newsworthy to Wired.
