Fun safari vehicle (don't look if you are anti-big car)

I know some of you hate excess in vehicles... but I warned you so why did you get THIS far! smiling smiley

But, this looks like fun. (not the alcohol on-board part, though)

Okay...last warning... no complaints about "Just what the world needs" or "it looks top heavy" or "Real fair...poor deer". winking smiley

I imagine it is rather top heavy, no good for actual off-roading, but an interesting idea. Kind of a party on wheels.

Is that a Duck vehicle like they have in Wisconsin Dells that is amphibious?

Pretty neat, though I wonder what kind of gas mileage it gets.

If it made love to a Hummer and had babies.

I'm not a fan of large gas guzzling vehicles, but so long as that thing isn't mass produced I think it is a neat idea.

Hey, I like the Corvair and think it is WAY cooler than that beast. Plus it gets better than 20 MPG. What domestic car do you know of from the '60s that could claim that?

Actually...after taking a second look I think you may be right.

Agreed! Love 'em or hate 'em, second-generation Corvairs are extremely attractive cars.

Ford Falcons (whose thin-wall cast iron six-cylinder engine actually weighed less than the Corvair's aluminum six cylinder, even counting the weight of the radiator), Chevrolet Chevy IIs, various Ramblers, and Plymouth Valiants and Dodge Lancers/Darts with six-cylinder engines.

Agreed again. smiling smiley

One more for the Corvair fans - they even borrowed the ramp idea

; -)

It reminds me a little of the BBSpot item: "New Ford Exorbitant Comes

Reminds me of the Todd Snyder song Beer Run:

Looks like a warm weather version of the Tundra Buggy.. [www.tundrabuggy.com]

The wheelbase is too long for off road unless you put tracks on it.

It's actually a line from a Robert Earl Keen song.

But that line is well within its rights to make him THINK of the BEER RUN song.
