Ebay Question: 1 item I sold is eligible for a Second Chance Offer.

I don't get it, one item I sold says it's elgible for a Second Chance offer.

If it's sold, how can there be a 2nd chance?

Has/Does eBay know the transaction has been completed? I've sold items and had the peckerwood not pay me.

SCOs can be issued for two reasons: a) you have one item available and the sale was never completed or b) you have multiple items available and are willing to sell to one or more underbidders whose final bids are acceptable to you. When the system says the item is eligible for an SCO, that simply means that you may issue an SCO if you choose.

See SCO info at: [pages.ebay.com]

Mine always do the same thing. One item available and sale always completed. But it always says its eligible for second chance.
