CS3 deals?

Looks like we'll be forced to switch from FreeHand to Illustrator for a couple of our clients. Are there any kind of competitive upgrade deals on CS3 Design Standard for FreeHand or PageMaker users? If it helps, I also have CS2 Premium and an educational license for the Design Collection.

Wasn't there some kind of chart that showed the best deal based on what you already owned?

I like Freehand better than Adobe Frustrator. You should be able to find some deals out there somewhere.

As long as it continues to run on my Mac I'll be happy. I just find Frustrator to be very stupid in its implementation. Its probably just me.

Sorry didn't mean it in an offensive way, perhaps I should have clarified that Adobe killed Freehand.

I too started off with Freehand first, and then through job requirements switched to Illustrator. True, it's not everything to everybody - but it does work hand-in-hand with Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat. More than I can say for Freehand. Illustrator is the now.
