100 Hours on Batt, & Buzz noise when PowerBook plugged in?

I am totally digging my new 15" PB 1.67 (last of the G4 line). Except for the annoying BUZZZZ sound when it's plugged in. Been using it since Sunday, the noise began last night and hasn't abated. Only when it's plugged in, though. Tried two different Apple power adapters, same results. Oh, also, my battery charge indicator onscreen says I have 100 hours and 45 minutes of charge left! Whoo-hooo! This also began last night. If I click on the batt, it does show 65%, though.

Before I ring Apple, ideas on what is going on with this 'Book?

On 10.4.2, only the stock 512 RAM. I've repaired perms twice.

THANKS for your thoughts!

Haven't figured out the buzz yet, but [discussions.apple.com] gives some help in case anyone else runs into this.

Ran AppleJack yesterday. It appears to have cured the problems altogether, without any software updating.
