Maynard maintains that outside of a few television cameos, he's only ever made a few hundred bucks off his costumed appearances.

No kidding?

He's taken entirely the wrong approach. People would probably pay him a small fortune to NOT have to see his spandex-clad beer gut and naughty bits at various conventions.

Sorry to be so cruel but sheesh.

Lets see. Tron was a security program so that makes Maynard what? bloatware?

Just plain silly.

Wait, he's a computer geek, but designed the exterior of the plane? From his web page:

I finally had a moment to finish the design of N55ZC's wings and horizontal stabilizer, to go along with the fuselage and paint I'd already done.

I'm pretty sure this won't be an issue aerodynamically, and it completes the look.

Is he also an aeronautical engineer in his spare time?!

Oh Jay, when did seem to be a good idea? I see an amphibious car and outfit to match in the future.

At first, I wondered how he could afford 140 grand for a plane but I'm guessing he doesn't have anything or anyone else to spend it on.

Mike, I'm with you. I'm thinking the only thing he goes home to is something that doesn't have a pulse and is probably inflatable.

Why do people wear those body hugging outfits when they have no body to be worth hugging?
