Days like this, you have to laugh at AAPL....

New products annnounced...
No bad news...
Healthy company..

Stock price dives $2.50.

I'm not worried about the long term... just have to laugh at the market reaction.

(and yes, the market over all didn't have a great day...)

Price of the mini. It's not exactly going to sell like hotcakes.

All of my stocks are down. I don't think AAPL's drop has anything to do with today's announcements.

I think it was a combination...
All mine are down also, but AAPL is by far the largest % drop today.

What's wrong with down a bit.
I missed the last 'buy' opportunity by two points.
I'll be in for a bit more if/when it drops to 65.
( I really should reconsider that buy point , I'm too cautious )

Today's announcements could augur bad things for AAPL.
They seem to be sliding sideways, as there was nothing today that smacked of 'innovation' -- unless you count overcharging for lacklustre products 'innovative.'

Maybe expectations are a little high from all the rumor site and fanboy speculation, but there wasn't a single 'ooh aah' product announced today.
And the foray into pedestrian (pardon the pun) iPod accessories is troubling.

Paul F, if it went UP after an anouncement, then we would be screwed, because the universe, as we know it, would be ending.

It started with Hospira which did a nose dive at the open. I was all down from there.
