printer security setting

One of our networked printers requires sending a password. In Tiger, there is a "Security" tab on the print dialogue box (one of the dropout options below Preset. I do not see that option in Leopard.

How do I send a password to the printer in Leopard?

The printer is a Konica-Minolta 600, maybe two or three years old. I have installed the driver from K-M but am not finding the option I need. Printer setup sees the printer via the IP address but cannot print to it. The printer automatically pauses any print jobs and I cannot delete the jobs nor get them to print.

Is there an updated "Leopard Compatible" driver for that printer, maybe?

New driver? Nope, Konica-Minolta has moved on to newer product lines. I would not begin to know how to find a new printer driver that is compatible. The list is too long to start at the top and try them all (until one works, of course).

I did download the latest driver for this printer, though, just this week and it is not giving me the option.

Don C, why do you need a password to print? Seems like a printer would not be a security risk but I'm curious.
