i need a clicker

One of my co-workers is starting to do alot of sales presentations. She takes her company laptop to the clients location, plugs into their projector, but they often do not have a clicker to move through the slide show. Is it possible to buy something that connects to the laptop for this purpose? Thanks

Logitech , Kensington and others offer them

They are usually designated "presenters" rather than clickers

Here's one - [us.kensington.com]

And nobody in the room can do the "next slide please" button push?

I suspect the sales person wants to come off as being very professional so asking someone in the room to please press the space bar occasionally really isn't an option. That kensington does look interesting, thank you for posting about that lafinfil.

handy tip #47:

wireless [RF, or extended range bluetooth, as needed for range] multi-button mouse can also be used and programmed so that in Keynote/Powerpoint/[other presentation app] a couple of those multiple buttons do the next & previous slide thing via an app specific profile... may also want to include zoom and pan button programming in profile. mouse can pull multiple duty w/o added cost of presenter, while still coming off professionally (assumes existing ownership of laser pointer, otherwise presenters are kinda cool).

Sometimes it is what it is...
and then there's times when it's really better.

This is probably one of the best ones out there and I always recommend it: [www.logitech.com]

...of course you can find it cheaper (just the first link to it on Logitech's site).

In the olden days my dad did slide shows for the church functions and I was his clicker. "Next"
