I hadn't heard this tune in a long time.

I hadn't realised I had got it but it was on a compilation CD I bought years ago, never played but put onto my iPod. I was walking this evening with the music on Random and up it came. It was naff then, probably still is but as a 12 year old boy I was in love.

Did a search and found a vintage TV clip on YouTube. Take a listen, does it bring back any memories?

Why didn't she just go tinkle and then call herself Terry?

Or did she have a background in German videos before, like at 15 years old?

just wondering....

gotta go tinkle now!

I believe that Jimmy Page was the guitarist on that record.

Is there something wrong with that YouTube clip? It seems to keep going out of tune.

That's probably just the doppler effect, caused by Jimmy Page existing in two parallel universes at the same time. Don't you ever watch PBS?

on the record or on that performance?

If you call that a performance....

One thing to be said --- it certainly didn't get any airplay that I recall, in Chicago, toward
the late 60s...

I'd have remembered a blonde singing out of key!

Wow, and on the side bar was "As tears go by" with Marianne Faithfull. Introduced by Brian Epstein of Beatles fame. I missed the Beatle rave as I was conscripted by the US of A and in Panama at the time. Great popular music came from the 60's and early documents of the beginnings are important.
