Can I create a DOS formated CD via 10.3?

I want to burn a DOS CD w/ my Kurzweil samples/programs on it. My version of the OS in my K2000 doesn't support ISO and I need a NATIVE DOS disk. Right now, I just use ZIP disks to transfer files back and forth. I would love to get all my zip disks onto a CD before the Zip disks die.

Also, I do have a B&W G3 with os9 on it as well... So, if osX can't cut it, I can do it via os9.

Thanks!

You can create a blank disk image with the command line program 'hdiutil' (use Terminal).

From my reading of 'man hdiutil', I would try

hdiutil -fs MS-DOS -volume MYDISK -create -megabytes 640 myimage.img

or

hdiutil -fs MS-DOS -volume MYDISK -create -srcfolder MyOriginalData myimage.img

Thanks for the tips... I think that works

hdiutil create -megabytes 640 myimage -fs MS-DOS

So, I'm going to give it a try and burn a test disk.

Well, it worked... However, the K2000 couldn't mount it... DOH...

Thanks anyways...

I might try formating a JAZZ disk in DOS format @ 640 MB... then burn that to CD...
