Reading via OS 8.5.1
IE 4 insists on downloading blank pages rather than rendering
but
Netscape 4.7.1 does a decent job.

(so this is what's on that 6G drive.)

If you're sticking with that, at least do the free upgrade to 8.6...much better version.

You may need to upgrade to 4.5 and add the Text Encodings from OS 8.6 to get some pages to load... and then many will look all wonky because it won't recognize the CSS formatting.

Check this out: I'm posting from 7.6.1! It's really slow and the pages look really ugly. But it's working.

IE was downloading blank pages as described above. Netscape was crashing.

So guess what browser I'm using?

Cyberdog 2.0! No kidding.

Ain't that something?

Okay, NOW I am posting from 8.6. Both IE and Netscape work, but it is almost as slow and as ugly as when I was back in 7.6.1...

Do you get the od little triangles to the left of some post's subject lines?
That don't do anything?

Cyberdog. Cool.
Back when so many claimed the internet was just a fad.
