Yet another reason to thank goodness for PithHelmet, so I can turn off the infinite looping of those animated GIFs. ;)

Yes, Camino does the same thing... allows for animation to only be done once.

Please refrain, and act like you have some taste, even if you don't. Please don't subject everyone else to your tackiness.

This is totally uncalled for.

Guitarman: Delightfully Tacky Yet Unrefined!

Where have I heard that line before? I know they don't serve fish sauce there, or tortillas españolas with those hideously parboiled potatoes.

I must repair to my inner sanctum and ponder this matter deeply.

I've posted again in the "Suggestions" to be able to disable smiley's-- best would be to convert them back to ASCII...

$tevie, that's great, but I'd rather not have to switch to Firefox for just that reason... so I'd really like an option to block smileys...

I removed the one I had put in the Birtday post, so maybe Guitarman will edit his out, too, just to keep the peace in Forumland. How about it G-man?

I feel cheated because there was a smiley face this morning on my birthday announcement & now it's gone. I figured the Forum Police took care of it before remembering we ain't over there any more.

DaviDC,

Smileys must be used for Good, not for Evil...
