Looking for gift suggestions for a Mac User

I bought someone an older Power Mac G4 tower in May for their birthday. It is running OSX and he already has a printer and a scanner and an external Firewire CD Burner. He has complained that the old ball based mouse gets dirty and doesn't work reliably so I will probably buy him an optical mouse but that doesn't seem much of a gift.

I know he would like an iPod Nano but then that's more than I want to spend.

I'm looking for suggestions that fall somewhere in between this range.

I love this cordless trackball. I don't need lots of buttons and the thumb ball is getting harder to find. It just works with the Macs. No install needed. One double A battery needed.

Wow. TidBits is still around? Is it still run by Adam Engst (sp)? I used to get their newsletter in the very early 90s while in college and using my roomate's SE/30. I'll have to check out their website.

I second the flash drive particularly if they don't have one yet.

Yes, they are still around and doing quite well. Still have a weekly newsletter that is fairly entertaining and when they review something it is usually done very deeply. Give them a visit...
