Opening .xlsx files with Office 2004?

A client uses Excel 2004 and 1-2 times a week gets .xlsx files. Although he has parallels installed, he would prefer to not open it up just to look at a file. Are there any converters/tricks to open up a .xlsx file in Office 2004?
