Cellphones: Bitpim or DataPilot? Want to upload/download Images and Ringtones...

I have a Sanyo Vi-2300 (sprint). I want to be able to download images & Ringtones (or create my own) and upload them to the phones. I would also LOVE to enter phone numbers to my phone as well via osX.

"if" I buy a USB data cable for my phone... Will Bitpim or DataPilot do this properly?

Thanks!
Bill

The new version of BitPim has been unusable on my Mac running 10.3.9. It claims it can't find my phone. I then have to use the PC version and copy the data to & from my Mac.

Does BitPim technically allow you to upload and download ringtones, photos and update your phone numbers? Or is that hit or miss?

I use Datapilot on my PC. I tried it on my Mac, but I couldn't get it to see my phone.
