It moves.

I am still in some pain. One tooth got rocked and pulled. The other was taken out in pieces with drilling.

How do you know it moves? Have you been fiddling with it? I think the dentists' rule book says you're not supposed to torment the site of the extraction. smiling smiley I've never looked at mine after having a tooth pulled. I was always afraid I'd see something I didn't want to know about.

I was gently rinsing with salt water and saw a little white gel hanging down. I thought it was food.

I looked at both locations with a purse mirror and they are white. They look pretty clean. I don't have any stitches.

Can't each much. Going to make potato soup.

I asked to see the tooth after the dentist commented on the long roots. It was weird.

It's the cap of the blood clot that has formed over the hole in your jaw. You do not, repeat, DO NOT want it to go away because that could lead to dry socket, which is extremely unpleasant.

This whole thread is extremely unpleasant..
Makes me wonder why I've read it twice now. (maybe I'm just not that bright?)

I cracked two molars, uh, seven eight years ago. They split right down the center, that was some painful s*#^t. I had to work for a year (in pain) driving sheet metal around in a stiffly suspended truck to get the dental coverage. It was a great dental plan, paid for all the work, two extractions and six points of bridging. Get this, I had no pain with the dental work, nada, none, no sedation. Amazing. I was prepared to go through as much pain as needed just to make it all go away. I was lucky, I found a great dentist.

Cheers!

To avoid a dry socket, don't drink with a straw.
