First post from my Mini9

I received my 32gig runcore yesterday and used the usb method to install and update OS X. The Mini 9 came today and I swapped out the SSD. Booted into the bios set up unchecked legacy usb and away we went. Booted perfectly. I ran the dellefi program and restarted.

Everything works except I wish two finger scrolling could be enabled.

This is a great value and the larger screen will save my eyes at Starbucks.

The only thing I need is an Apple logo sticker. Where do I get one?

First, welcome to the club! DelLeader!

How long did it take fromt the time you ordered to when you received your RunCore SSD?

There are drivers that enable more scrolling options. Check out mydellmini.com on the OS X forum.

As far as a decal goes...the white ones you get from Apple are not opaque enough to hide the dell logo. If you look on eBay, you can find people selling vinyl decals that will cover it up.

And finally...have fun!

It was difficult to type all that, wasn't it? (if not, you are blessed tiny fingers) I like my Dell Mini, but that miniature keyboard can be taxing. Your impressions?

Typing on the mini9 is easier then my iPhone. I can't type well anyway so it is not too bad. I am loading windows via Parallels as we speak.

good point. I think these ultra small subcompact notebooks are frustrating and unsatisfying for touch typists, but A-Okay for two-finger typers.

meklort on the MyDellMini forum will have extra stickers soon - read about it here. Join the MyDellMini forum and just send meklort a pm - he takes paypal, and the price is very reasonable (I think I ended up paying around $2.65 each, but upped it a few bucks for his trouble).

This will probably be the cheapest way you will be able to get one.
Handy hint - when applying it, use a credit card to slowly stick it on, or you'll likely end up with a bubble or two - which cannot be fixed without destroying the decal.
Yes, I found this out the hard way - but fortunately had thought ahead and had an extra decal ready to go.
