If you had to choose between these LCD Displays... BW Warning

We've rearranged and my Soyo 24" pre-TN panel no longer fits my
space, since buying the MacBook I don't use the Mini near as much anyway.

I've got a Dell 1704FPT Ultrasharp that's about 5 years old and an HP
w1907 at my disposal. The Dell is nice that it does high resolution, 1280
x 1024 at 75 Hz, has USB ports, has flat/matte screen and swivels, not that I
can swivel it where it would be. Then there's the HP that's about 2 years old,
will only do 1440 x 900 at 60Hz, has no USB, doesn't swivel but is wide screen
format and has a glossy screen. One thing I'm considering is the fact
that the Dell is about 5 years old and saw a lot of use for gaming with
my son. The text is good with the HP but not as good as it was with
the Soyo. I haven't tried the Dell with the Mini yet.

I'm trying to keep it as clutter free as possible. There's nothing on the
floor, all wires are bundled, power packs are behind the door with the UPS or
under the shelf. The only way to go back to the 24" is to remove the
monitor shelf and little cubbie holes on the right. I could unplug
everything and roll somewhere else if needed. Every USB port on the
Mini is occupied and one on the Apple keyboard is being used for my
wireless mouse.

'Looks like you've got room to wall-mount a couple of arms for both monitors.

Are they VESA-mount compliant?

Wow. Kill the desk hutch. That is so 1980s.

Plus from the looks of it, not much is stored there.

The HP looks fine.
I'll send you the address of a recycler for the Dell and Soyo. :-)

The wife says the HP has to stay. She doesn't want to go back to the
old aspect ratio of the Dell. There's no ambient light behind the HP so
the glossy screens not a problem. I think we're going to give the Dell
and one our Windows desktops to my nephew, he needs a computer for
High School, although not part of the deal he's promised me he's going
to complete HS.

Not sure what I'm going to do with the Soyo, wife wants to replace this
whole Mini, ext. burner and separate screen fiasco with a refurb iMac.

As far as the cubbie holes and not much in them, I just moved the desk into
this position yesterday, give it a few days.

I had one of those Soyos. They're great monitors. Send it to me if you don't want it anymore.
