Well, it's a little odd, but that's the hybrid look for you. I wouldn't say ugly. I mean, you've got the Aztec to compete with on ugly.

I wonder what the MPG will be...

Not much of a fan of the current Accord sedan's style, and a new Accord hatchback (first since '89) sounds like a good idea. Of course, that was back when Accords were small. I'll reserve judgement until I can see it in the flesh, without the obvious camo attempts.

At any rate, I believe that is either a hybrid or an electric vehicle because I don't see any exhaust pipes. Looks fine to me.

The top pic shows a different car than the bottom few Hondas, yes? The rear wheels on the top one seems to be very far forward...the bottom ones should a more standard placement...the bottom ones look just fine to me...if it has great mileage, I may buy one...

black- we owned a similar Accord LX (1981) that was a green color. I really liked that car and I'd probably still be driving it if it hadn't developed a fatal case of rust. That is the price I pay for living in the salt belt.

The back of that car reminds me of a combination of a Maxima (before the latest redesign) and the Crossfire.

I think/thought the rumor is/was that what you link to is STILL an option. Just that they are also going to have this scarab-butt version, too.

I'd like to see it without that goofy bra on the front.

I can't be objective, I don't think it looks so bad, but I'm an '06 Honda civic Si coupe owner.

I find that quite good looking, actually. Considering it is a hybrid moto/scooter, it's pretty nice. What is not so nice is the ridiculous price Honda is charging for the luxury of having one.
