Even if you don't do anything with it but look at it.

The only reason that I'm looking forward to Snow Leopard is that they might finally get Stacks working almost as well as the hierarchical folders they replaced in the Dock.

If there is something you want to see, let me know, if you don't have it. I'll try to recreate it for you and post a pic.

There is a lot of new stuff - and it's very good.

The kernel is NOT a 64 bit for the beta (which is odd... but that's what System Profiler says) - yet it still
tests out just slightly faster, via GeekBench, than 10.5.7.

Not enough to notice anything... but 1% is 1% !!!!!

I am not working in it - the partition is too small. It's there really as my "repair partition" to fix the primary
drive. But once I get a large external, and the real release comes out, I'll probably change the whole partition
scheme completely vs. what it is now. That includes keeping 10.5.7 until I'm certain that other apps do not
need updated.

I planned ahead. smiling smiley My MBP's drive is already partitioned with a rescue volume that I plan to keep at 10.5 for similar reasons.

My other Macs are all PPC. 'Never gonna see Snow leopard. ;(

I will always think of this one:

While touring a company we were doing business with in about 1990-91, I watched an artist working on a high end "paint box" workstation to adapt this painting for the round plate. I guess he was pretty much just using it's "clone tool" capabilities.

I later heard from one of the company's owners that Photoshop 5 blew the doors off that thing, and they sold this million dollar piece of equipment on eBay for $1500.

You'd think they would have just laid the plate over the painting and used a razor blade!
