Larry (and other experts): where is the Pioneer 110 (non-D) ?

Or the NEC drive that does DVD-RAM too (4551?).

I know there is a firmware hack to enable DVD-RAM on the 110D. I also know there is an LG drive that does DVD-RAM. Still, the question remains: why is the Pioneer 110 not available, almost 6 months later (it was announced in June I think?)

have to ask Pioneer - they did not plan to supply it to the US market and haven't made it readily available except by rather expensive special order for the US.

We are working on offering the LG burner model - which we should soon have for the same cost as the 110D pioneers and offered in the same bundles with media/software.

Don't even get me started on the whole Pioneer part numbering system either...
