Did anybody catch that glitch that happened over at dealmac yesterday?

That wasn't supposed to show up last night. I just woke up to find it made it on the site. The default names for all those do suck.

What that just whimsical name & rank for the level of posts?

A secret code by B Moon and the Community Leaders?

What B Moon really thinks of us since we B!tch and whine about the forum change?

What was the deal?

According to that place... I am a veteran.

And after yesterday, I consider myself a wounded veteran. And now that the very memory of me has been removed from there - I'm a wounded veteran with amnesia.

I want to know who is going to issue my disability checks, as well as WHERE AM I?

There was a "test" of some kind going on that gave each member a rank based on post count
i.e. Newbie , Member, Trusted Member, Forum Expert, Forum Veteran etc ...

They switched it back to normal this a.m.

With all this new forum biz going on I haven't had time to create new sigs or avatars.

I too, was an expert for a night!

I felt so confident in my role...posting with surefootedness (was I typing with my hands or my feet?). The kind of stability only an expert would possess.

Then they stripped me of my name, rank and serial number.

Hell, they grabbed my sword and busted it in two. Labeled me as some kind of traitor...

Paranoia time:

Maybe the real idea behind the Dealmac forums was just to give BLM a place to work on his code and we were all simply guinea pigs.

Maybe the reason we can't understand his motivations recently is that we're all looking at it the situation though he was providing a service to us when to HIM we were all disposable volunteers in his lab-experiment.

Maybe when the lab animals make too much noise, it's easier to euthanize them than to placate them.

Maybe he's an alien and he's really planting a "sleeper" personality in our brains to make us all into helpless cattle when his people invade.

(Sorry about that last bit. 'Been watching late-night tv.)
