No, but I might get one of the "Chia Cat Grass" things for one of my mother's cats. He's always eating the houseplants, and maybe this would discourage him?

Every time that commercial comes on either my husband or my daughter says that's what I'm getting for Christmas. I seriously hope they are kidding.

I'd buy a Chia Teal'c, or maybe the cat grass one.

My brother and his wife e-mailed everyone their Christmas list and joked about getting a Chia Pet.

So guess when I bought the two of them...

My wife has gotten me seamonkeys the past few years even though I'm 26 now. They are still fun. You'd be surprised the number of people that don't know what they are or know what they are but didn't know they are just brine shrimp. For my birthday she got me an antfarm. The ants didn't do to well. At least the Goldfish I got at the 4th of July fair is still alive and kickin. He's got his own 10 gallon tank. He's a king in there.

We had an ant farm fiasco at one of my old jobs. An account executive bought the art department an art farm for Christmas. We sent for the ants but most of them were dead on arrival. So somebody brought in some "wild" ants to fill out the farm. There was an instant war between the small, original ants and the big newcomer ants, then after killing all the small ants the big ones died within days. Oh, the horror, the horror. :-(

$tevie, that is so macabre. Sounds like a good idea for a Steven King novel.

Now that chia herb garden looks interesting. It's probably the only way I'd ever have fresh herbs.
