thank you! my 16 year keeps insisting he has swine flu.

hacking cough and stuffiness - check.

body aches, chest discomfort, fever, headache, fatigue, chills - UNCHECK!

it's a cold. it will pass. get outside and mow the lawn. give me a break...

There's also another one floating around that's Flu vs Swine Flu... that and what the doc said are the main reasons I think I had h1n1 as they wouldn't test me (they thought I had it, didn't want me going to a hospital or doctor's office.)

I've run a (mild) temp and not really known/aknowledged it, and I've had walking pneumonia (certain kind of bacteria) which symptoms can mimic a mild nuisance flu.

And that's the problem with flu .
Some are little more than a nuisance. H1N1 can take off extremely fast.

Which is why in some cases it might be better for some kids to actually stay in school on a cot in a gym or someplace.
Home alone is not safe.
