Now I feel everyone's pain. Mac Mini I wanted showed up and I got an email alert from refurb-store, it showed instock but wouldn't let me check out...then it went to out of stock! Drat, missed again! I guess this is going to require constant refreshes of the Store page to actually get one of these?

bookmark the product, then when you get the email, go there right away.

i've seen them sold out even when clicking immediately - there must be some delay.

Stay online between 12:00am and 4:00am, droid post them during that time. Worked for me once.

Took me weeks to get my refurb Mini back in the 1.66 CoreDuo days.

Be patient young grasshopper.

Took me 3 weeks.
When mine came online I called and completed the purchase by phone (because I don't do e-tail from work computers).

Keep looking everyday. It'll show up. My preferred time to look when I got mine a year or so ago was from say, 8am-1pm EST.

There were times when there would be nothing in the morning and it would show up around noon for about a 1/2 hr.

There's a RefurbMe Widget that can be configured to open the Apple Refurbished page whenever anything is added to the page. Or it can be configured to give a "Speech" notification. Notifications can be configured several ways.

You can also set an upper limit on the price of the new item. Might work pretty good for a Mac Mini as it's lower in price than a lot of the refurb stuff. It's free, and worked fine for me when I was looking for a particular iMac. I'm not sure it's any quicker than an email alert, but it'd be easy to test.
