this morning i went to check web/email and found my network was not accessible.

i have an airport extreme base station tethered via ethernet to my g5 imac 10.4.11.

my network name is on my airport pulldown list but when i go to join i get "error in joining" message.

i have re-booted but same situation.

i have run network diagnostic and the dsl seems to be fine.

what is up with my airport network?

any and all thoughts are appreciated.

be well

When in doubt, restart. My first troubleshooting advice.

I never have to reboot our Snow ABS, but have to do so every few weeks for our AirPort Express. The Lucent technology in the original AirPort cards and base stations was bulletproof.

(And while the ABSs only had WEP, most PCs couldn't connect to them unless you had a 13 character password.)

Good luck.
