Quicktime VR - Object Rotation

Any QTVR experts out there? I have a friend who needs to create some simple object rotations. She needs to shoot the front, back and sides of a product and make a QTVR movie, but she has no idea what software to use. Most of the apps she's seen are much more complex than she needs. Any advice? Surely there must be a way to make these things with Photoshop, iMovie or something.

I think you need special equipment - this might be a good start:

I used to do QuickTime VR back in the day... virtual tours and objects both.

With an object you need to put it on a turntable and rotate it.

What I'm not sure about is the stitching software these days. I'd actually won a copy of QuickTime VR Studio at an Apple event back in the day (circa 1999). I assume there's better tools now.

If there's a Classic-capable Mac in the production pipeline I'd be happy to dig up my QTVR copy and send it her way...

Shooting the images will not be a problem since she's got a professional studio, it's the stitching of the photos which has her confused. Note that we're only talking a total of 4 images here, not one of those 360 degree continuous rotations.

I ran across that VR Studio software in my searches at Apple and that looks like it would be perfect, but alas, she doesn't have a Classic friendly Mac. I'm sure there are other alternatives out there... just have to find one.
