No, she never said, "having so much sex". She only mentioned how much contraception costs over the long term. She's clearly taking the pill and that means taking it every day whether you're having sex that day or not. Limbaugh is obviously visualizing 1000s of condoms and is assuming that constantly using contraceptives means constantly having sex.

You are obviously getting your info on this story from Rush exclusively...

Rush lives in a world that if he says it, it must be true (and his listeners are in lockstep with this message as well). I hope all of his advertisers flee from this worthless POS.

When he dies, this world will be much better place without him in it.

To all of the GOP women that read this: do you still respect what Rush says after this misogynistic tirade?

Fluke herself said she was "having so much sex" she couldn't afford to pay for it (birth control). Limbaugh took this to the next level by reasoning that if someone has to pay for all her sexual activities then she getting paid to have sex ergo she's a prostitute.

Wher are the guys in all this? They can get free condoms at all kinds of places.

Limbaugh woke up, thought of a controversial statement to get the whole media buzzing, and let it fly.
How great would it have been not to give him exactly what he wanted.

LIMBAUGH said that, not Sarah Fluke. Fluke told the story of a friend who needed to take birth control pills to help control ovarian cysts. The friend could not afford the $100 a month for the pills and got very ill.

Mitt weighs in:

"I'll just say this, which is, it's not the language I would have used," Romney told reporters after an event in Cleveland. Instead, he said, "I'm focusing on the issues that I think are significant in the country today, and that's why I'm here talking about jobs and Ohio."

Upon seeing the quote, David Axelrod, senior advisor to the Obama campaign, issued a sarcastic tweet: "Wow. Profiles in Courage" as well as "What about the spirit of what Rush said? Was that OK?"

Limbaugh is not criminally liable for what he said. But he could be found civilly liable if Fluke were to sue, which I doubt she will. The Supreme Court is hearing the case of criminal penalties against people who lie about earning certain medals. If you read the posts above, you will see that no one ever mentioned criminal penalties.

So she's "entitled" to free birth control so she can party with peace of mind? If you liberals are so wee weed up about this, why don't you write a check to Planned Parenthood so she can go there and get her freebies? You approve of PP, no? She should take personal responsibility for her personal life style choice and leave the rest of us out of the loop.

I have absolutly no objection to including birth control pills in health insurance policies for medical reasons, but not for her party time.

Why the focus on birth control? Someone could just as easily say disgusting, derogatory things about people who drink too much alcohol or smoke cigarettes or eat so much that they cause significant health problems that have to be covered "for free" by health insurance. I guess those things don't titillate conservatives salacious appetite for all things priggish.

The sick thing is that Swamp continues to defend this gasbag and repeats the lies that have been easily disproven. History will not be kind to people like Rush, with good reason.

It is pathetic that any woman would defend that pr!ck.

What's a lie about her not paying for her own life style choices?

$1000 per year x 50M single women =$50B a year. That means every man woman and child in the USA would have to pony up $167 a year to support the single women that want free birth control pills. (I did grab the 50M single women figure out of the air, but I think you get the point.)

Go write your check to Planned Parenthood.

The cost of @#$%& is $14 per pill. $14 per pill times 25M men in the US with ED, means that every man woman and child in the US would have to pay $243.15 to support the old goats who can't get it up. (I did grab the 25M old fart figure out of the air, but I think you get the point.)

Edit: Come to think of it some of those old goats might be gay, so it will cost extra to hire spies to make sure all the @#$%& is going to rootin' tootin' heterosexuals. Wouldn't want to offend the GOP's delicate sensibilities.

It's been standard for health insurance to cover contraceptives for a very long time. Some don't charge a co-pay for them, so do, some don't cover this at all. But we are not talking about something earth shatteringly-new here. Even Catholic institutions like DePaul University, the nation's largest Catholic employer, have been covering contraceptives for their employees for many years.

Because the various physician's groups and public health people who make recommendations regarding health policy recommended that contraception be covered with no co-pay, this is part of the ACA.
We're talking about private health care coverage, not a Medicare program for birth control, for pete's sake.

What is the big deal?
