Figures that Obamacare was modeled by a non-Mac user

Unless he's using a hackintosh...the man who models healthcare economics for the Obama white house (and Massachusetts) is a probably a windoze user. Ugh...no wonder why it's all screwed up. :-)

.. Seriously.. MIT ? It's all on Unix. The PC in the front is just running X11.

Just try finding economics modeling software that runs on a macintosh. I'd love to use a mac at work, but there is very little specialized scientific modeling software that runs on anything but a PC, and I'm certain the same is true of economics and business software.

I didn't know that iPads/iPods were unix compatible...he's got 2 apple dongles in the picture so I assumed it was a windoze machine...

I believe cbelt3 stated that the PC in the front is running X11. I thought X11 was only available on unix OS's...

I believe cbelt3 stated that the PC in the front is running X11. I thought X11 was only available on unix OS's...

PC's can run Unix.
