Ted Nugent has lost what was left of his mind
Posted by: Lemon Drop
Date: April 17, 2012 02:54PM
Secret Service is looking into comments he made at the NRA convention.

If Obama is re-elected "I will either be dead or in jail."

"While rallying support for Romney, Nugent compared President Obama and Democrats to a coyote that needs to be shot, called President Obama's administration "vile, evil America-hating," and ended with a call to chop off Democrats' heads: "We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November."

"Romney spokesperson Andrea Saul has also weighed in the matter.

"Divisive language is offensive no matter what side of the political aisle it comes from," she said, according to Talking Points Memo. "Mitt Romney believes everyone needs to be civil.""

Thus allowing the Dems to force a move on her part. Thus is the game of Political Chess played. Well done.

Mitt Romney knew what Ted Nugent was like before he started negotiating with him for an endorsement. He can own it.

What kind of mental deficient actively seeks an endorsement from someone like Ted Nugent? I bet Romney knew nothing about him -- although he may have friends who own Ted Nugent records.

Isn't slamming the person in the office of the president like this being un-American and giving comfort to the enemy? Oh, wait, that is only under a GOP president; when the tables are turned, any criticism is patriotic and acceptable.

Poor little Ted must need some publicity.

I feel it's important to point out that the Secret Service may be a little understaffed right now big grin smiley
Although they do have some personnel that need reassigning that seem to understand at least the sex part of sex, drugs, and rock & roll. devil smiley

... and seriously, I don't understand why folk in any party feel the need to demonize their opponents and call for their violent demise. I understand political speechification and the methodology of bombast, but that stuff is just so badly 19th century...

( Then of course I've seen similar calls herein calling for Bad Stuff to happen to previous presidents and vice presidents ... )

I read the title of this post and thought the forum went wacky. Figured it was moving posts from years ago to the top of the list by some sort of error.

I know a guy that knows Ted and he swears he's a "cool" guy and that he just plays this up as if it's just a persona. I called BS. He's a nutter.

Secret Service looking into Ted Nugent violent anti-Obama message

Good. I think that anyone on the extreme fringe that not so subtly threatens a president should be investigated.

Ted Nugent is just a loudmouth that is not dealing with a full deck. I guess he is getting support from similarly small minded folk from the extreme right.

The fact that Fox "news" keeps presenting him shows that they agree with the message he is spewing.

Kid Rock has turned into an extreme right assclown, too.

maybe all that wild game meat has given Mr Nugent Mad Cow Disease?

from Ted's wikipedia:

Family

He has had two wives and has eight children, including three out of wedlock in two liaisons almost 30 years apart. In the late 1960s, prior to his first marriage, Nugent fathered a boy, Ted (Mann) and a girl, whom he gave up for adoption in infancy. This did not become public knowledge until 2010. The siblings were adopted separately and had no contact with one another. The son learned the identity of his birth father in 2010 through the daughter's quest to make contact with him and their birth parents. According to a news report, Nugent over the years had discussed the existence of these children with his other children.

In 2005 Nugent was involved in a legal battle for not paying enough child support for a child he had out of wedlock in 1995. It was finally resolved when Nugent was ordered to pay $3,500 in child support.

He was married to his first wife, Sandra Jezowski, from 1970 to 1979. They had three children, son Theodore Tobias "Toby" Nugent, and daughters Sasha and Starr Nugent. Sandra died in a car crash in 1982. His second marriage was to Shemane Deziel, whom he met while a guest on Detroit's WLLZ-FM, where she was a member of the news staff. They married on January 21, 1989. Together they have two children, son Rocco Winchester Nugent, and daughter Chantal Nugent.

In 1978, Nugent began a relationship with seventeen-year-old Hawaii native Pele @#$%&. Due to the age difference they could not marry so Nugent joined @#$%&'s parents in signing documents to make himself her legal guardian, an arrangement that Spin magazine ranked in October 2000 as #63 on their list of the "100 Sleaziest Moments in Rock".

Well that would rap up the Hillbilly vote for Mitt but as I understand it they'd need a picture ID to cast that vote. Probably won't matter since Diebold will probably vote for them anyway.
