Zappa and this cretin were friends. Really. Their common opinions on anti-drug use and anti-gov't was enough common ground for a friendship. I heard it with my our ears - a LONG interview (Nugent the interviewer, zappa the interviewee). They hit it off big time.

Keep in mind that Zappa was bat-@#$%& crazy too. He really, honestly believed that AIDS was not an epidemic and that it was created by the US gov't to get rid of gays.

i've had my thoughts about AIDS, too, hal.

remember the the US government tested LSD and other horrible @#$%& on its own people.

guess i'm bat-@#$%& crazy as well.
