Romney taking credit for auto industry success
[news.yahoo.com]

If a Democrat railed against the industry like Mitt ( "let them fail" ) did, yet later says they were any bit responsible for the successful turnaround, they would be absolutley crucified.

I thought that lying as a Mormon was a heavy duty sin?

What auto industry success? I guess Detroit is booming these days. Oh wait, union bosses living high on the hog with tax payer's bailout money.

are you really going to play that old canard?

next you will be suggesting that some form of socialism has run rampant and will soon be calling folks "@#$%&".

jeez louise.

check the calendar, it is 2012.

if not for the obama administration, there would be no auto industry in the united states.

be well.

Mormons are allowed (and in some cases encouraged) to lie to non-Mormons. It's not about religion. It's about politics.

Kind of like a car salesman... you can tell he's lying because...

his lips are moving.

FWIW, Mitt was speaking the The Faithful. Euclid is an inner ring suburb with a few remaining heavy manufacturing companies and a bunch of small businesses, all manufacturing based, which are kicking butt these days. If you're a tool and die man, you can name your own $$. HOWEVER.. the people that work in these factories do NOT live in Euclid.

Euclid itself is collapsing from a lower middle class blue collar ethnic enclave (mostly Central and Eastern European) to an inner city low income / assisted housing mix. Plus being another ground zero in foreclosures. It's NOT a safe neighborhood any more.. the crack dealers and gangs are at work, and gang tags are becoming more prevalent. Euclid used to host a giant 'bar crawl' on what had been a famous 'party street' lined with bars. It's been cancelled after gang-related shootings a couple of years ago.

The folks you heard from were mostly Tea Partiers from the southern and eastern outer suburbs of Cleveland.

Swampy, read this:

This is why what he is saying now is nothing but a LIE.

I guess it does not matter to the Fox "news" viewers. Whatever Mitt says will be taken as fact, and those who point out that what is saying is wrong are the problem.

Sarcasm is usually clever and/or funny.

Sarchasm; is that what you fall into when you're angry and bitter?

Any claims of sarcasm by a known and proven liar, would need to be judged as dishonest.

Given the chasm other have to leap to try to understand her thinking, Swampy's malaprop is actually a bit amusing. I don't normally enjoy grammar @#$%& but since the poster is a self professed educator...
