Anyone buying AAPL now?

Which is best, buy AAPL now or should I wait for Romney's win?

I'm thinking all stocks will soar after Obama is booted but that won't happen for months. I've got cash in hand.

Who's still buying, and who's waiting?

To really make money, you want to short the big bank stocks that will tank when lack of regulation under the SEC run by Bain advisors leads to them setting up a CDS pyramid again.

If I had some available cash, I'd buy some AAPL now. It may still go down another 30-40but the trend should reverse soon. Frankly I'm a bit surprised it hasn't reversed already.

Are you under the impression that stocks have been depressed during the current administration? You may want to check in with reality for a quick second.

I don't think you want to wait for the win.

Once the polls get him further ahead than the 26% now by the end of June the stock should already be exploding with anticipation and enthusiasm.

I always thought that AAPL's products and earnings had more to do with the stock price than who is president of the US.

But, on Jan 20, 2009 when Obama took office, AAPL closed at $78.20. I'd take another 4 years of performance like that.

I'll sell 4 years after there is a clear single party majority in the Presidency and the Congress, and that party is under tight control by the party officials. That's the general measurement for an economic collapse.

If the House stays Republican, the Senate stays Democratic, and the Presidency stays Democratic, then my Government will continue to be unable to screw things up.

Hmmm, that's the question I've been toying with recently. My last round of AAPL purchases was in January when the stock was around $430. Then it started moving upward, then people predicted $665. Still hasn't happened yet.

I'm glad I didn't buy in the $590+ range and I'm not bullish on buying more stock right now though history suggests it will continue to rise, I'm not as confident. We may be in a position where the stock will level out for quite some time.

BTW, this is based purely on speculation and my subjective "feelings" and has nothing to do with actual financial analysis.
