Survey: NPR’s listeners best-informed, Fox viewers worst-informed. People who only watch Fox News did worse than people who watch no news at all.

I don't believe it! Fox "news" tells the truth all of the time!

When you are on the wrong side of history, you just make things up to fit whatever narrative you are presenting.

The problem, as noted here repeatedly, is that Fox fuzzes the line between 'news' and 'commentary'. And people who watch the 'commentary' shows think it's 'news'. And get really confused and end up thinking all kinds of dumb stuff.

NPR clearly identifies editorial commentary, and does a reasonable job of discussing all sides. Not as well as the CSM, but pretty good.

It's also not a structurally fair comparison. A news program that does not have to spend 40% of the program selling stuff to you to pay the bills has an unfair advantage in depth of reportage.
