Others — mostly from Wisconsin — have grumbled that the White House and the Democratic National Committee remain insufficiently committed, financially, to recalling Walker.

Well, open the coffers and buy those damn votes already!

Too late, the Koch brothers have already bought them.

spoke to my parents (who live in wisconsin) about this the other day.

seems that the dems are lacking a charismatic leader. I can't figure out why feingold doesn't want to do it.

A bond trader from Arkansas sent Walker $200,000. He'll make a profit, I'm sure. How can the dopes in Wisconsin get a second chance and still screw it up?

Wisconsin has been slowly turning into a red state. Don't ask mick e why.

Recalls are consistently hard to do. You have to have a strong replacement, and completely demonize the politician being recalled. Most voters don't want to be bothered.

Maybe the polls will make Walker supporters complacent and they will stay home. I hope.

saving face. most "name" politicians (or, ex-politicians) won't stick out their neck in a close race. and most do some sort of polling before deciding whether to put their name in, because once they're in and they lose, chances are there's no second chance.
