Obama campaign ad gets 4 Pinocchios this time...

The Obama campaign apparently loves to ding former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney with the charge of “outsourcing.” On several occasions, we have faulted the campaign for its claims, apparently to little avail.

Now, all of the claims have been combined in one 30-second ad, with the added incendiary charge that Romney was a “corporate raider.” Let’s look anew at this material.

for those of us that believe that Obama farts rainbows...

All political ads are propaganda. All propaganda is bogus. Anybody with half a brain turns them off.

You know what you call a truthful politician in an election?

The loser.

Sad, isn't it.

Google "Romney lies."

129000 results...

"Omaba lies."

566000 results

what's the point? Any link from any of those searches will take you to an incredibly bias web page. If you're looking for like minded folks, you'll find them. If you looking for material to upset you, you'll find that too... but why bother?

I believe that the Washington Post writers changed their tune a little after the White House sent them corroborating information.

On the other hand, Romney is such a serial liar that there is now a shortage of wood needed to carve all those Pinocchios. It's been well documented that Romney just makes stuff up, For some reason, the major media don't want to get into this trope right now. I suspect that it will become something of a big deal as the election draws nearer.

One doesn't want to start to early with the negative campaigning, but on the other hand one doesn't want to leave it too late or else it will get lost in the general kerfuffle.
It's that sweet spot- the Goldilocks moment- when whatever you say has enough time to sink into the morass of "conventional thought", but not too much that it loses its impact.
How much fun spin doctoring must be!
