Yesterday Obama said in his speech "how do we reclaim our Central American promise?" I don't remember any "central American promise" before.

The "central American promise" is not a "Central American promise." He was talking about core values, not Mexico.

and it is central American promise, not Central American Promise, despite the dual playing cards in his speech (es).

Most immigrants do ( legal or otherwise) usually hope to have a bit better luck making it here, though, no ?

Not to mention that Mexico, the apparent basis of sams concern isn't a Central American Country. It's a North American country. That may be the real basis of her irritation.
