Two quick, rough internet searches brings forth this-

Let's pick an average person, about 80 kilos. A hog will yield around 70% of live weight, so that's about 56 kilos of edible meat. (You could probably get a bit more if you wanted to eat all of the organs and such).
Depending on the cut, a kilo of meat runs from about 1500 to 2500 kcal, so we'll call it 2,000 kcal per kilo.
So, your basic human would yield around 110,000 calories. That's enough to keep you going for about two months.

Let's round that down to 100,000 calories for ease.
So, very loosely, 2.5 million x 100 000 = two hundred fifty billion, which seems like quite a lot of wasted energy. Screw fracking!

More searching reveals that -
A gallon of gasoline (about 4 liters) contains about 31,000 calories.

250 billion / 31 000 = 8 064 516.13

That's around 8 million gallons of gas.

Latte liberals? I guess all those people who fly (private and commercial), go on cruises, live more than 5 miles from work, have boats, etc aren't contributing to usage? And we know Republicans of all stripes are such conservationists.

Like... oh, roads, airports, schools, libraries, yadda yadda. Been going on for quite a long time.

And then of course there are teh ebil Europeans who move bones out of crypts into ossuaries. They've been doing it for a many, many centuries.

There's nothing really 'sacred' about cemeteries, Poltergeist movies aside. They get moved sometimes.
