Bernie is perfect for a small state like Vermont and Vermont is perfect for Bernie. If he'd stayed home in New York he'd never have advanced beyond a state assembly seat.

States with more Senators than Congresspeople are interesting places.

It is amazing how people can make a livelihood out of nothing. All this guy does is make a few speeches, hasn't crafted any legislation, none of his ideas are ever going to go anywhere or do anything for Vermont and yet he has managed to make 6 figure income for 20+ years, put kid after kid through college, travel, have multiple homes etc.etc. Where else can you get a job like that.
