Anyway, yeah, lots of corporate support for rights of same sex couples, they've been leading the way on this for some time. Way ahead of government in most cases.

Pres. Obama was just at Costco co-founder Jim Sinegal's house in Seattle this week for a fundraiser.

Sinegal:
"You might be seeing some ads or hearing some folks say that President Obama doesn’t support small business owners,” Sinegal wrote in a blog post on the Obama campaign website and in a mass email to Obama supporters. “But he understands that small businesses grow and prosper because of individual initiative — because entrepreneurs like you and me do the hard work it takes, and that we can’t do it alone.”

“My own story is proof — I come from a very humble background, and I truly believe that I couldn’t have succeeded in any other place but America,” Sinegal continued. “I got a good, affordable education from a state university. I had the chance to pitch my business plan to investors, and they heard and supported me. Thanks to a strong nationwide transportation system and infrastructure, we’ve opened warehouses across the country and around the world.”

Good for them. History will not be kind to the supporters of bigotry and discrimination.

So you can keep people working in hot, stuffy warehouse for 16 hours a day and then buy yourself protection by coming out for gay marriage? That is pretty cheap way of getting into the 99% club.

Fast food doesn't have the same labor problem as do high tech companies. A guy who pay's minimum wage and profits from that is very different than a company who relies on and pays for professional capability.

If Chick a fil needed or used high level chef's to deliver their product, you can bet they'd have a different attitude about the personal lives of their employees.
